HGV Training Courses

Ford & Williams HGV Driver Training is a Burnley, Lancashire based company offering a comprehensive range of intensive ONE TO ONE driver tuition courses with a wealth of expertise gained jointly by directors Martin Ford and Rachel Williams with over 15 years in the industry.

This could be the start of a promising career in HGV / LGV or CPC driving or maybe to get that larger horsebox you bought, and can't drive, on the road. Try us, we won't let you down. We will give you the time you need, because we know how important your licence is. We are equally successful with men and ladies. Our vehicles are clean, tidy and well maintained.

Our aim is to provide a friendly relaxed experience that you enjoy, from helping with medicals to theories, while training with us.

B+E Car & Trailer Driver TrainingB+E Car & Trailer Driver Training

As a full licence holder who passed your test after 1997, it is illegal to pull a trailer, boat or caravan, etc over 750kg and you could get your towing vehicle crushed, a fine and 3 points on your licence. Don’t let this happen to you: book a B+E Car & Trailer course with Ford & Williams.

The size of the trailer you can pull depends on the B+E ‘valid from’ date shown on your licence. If the date is before 19 January 2013, you can tow any size trailer; if it is on or after 19 January 2013, you can tow a trailer with a MAM of up to 3.5 tonnes.

B+E Car & Trailer

Tow a horsebox/caravan, etc. You can drive a vehicle with a MAM of 3.5T with a trailer (see note above).
